The People Who Make Us Amazing
My love of gymnastics started when i was selected to be in my school team at the age of 7. I retired at 16 and then life took over! My eldest daughter showed potential aged 5 so I searched to find a local club. My youngest daughter followed in her footsteps and I was totally transported back into the gymnastics world. I qualified as a coach in pre-school, general, women's artistic and acrobatics and I am also a regional acrobatics judge and a national BSGA judge. I am proud that my club has coached thousands of children since I established Jaybee in 2002 and that all of my coaches are ex gymnasts who have moved through the club and decided to pass on their knowledge and love for the sport.
Head of Elite Acrobatics
Hello, I’m Maxine and I have been a part of gymnastics for 26 years! I am currently the Acrobatics head coach but sometimes work with the rec & preschool gymnasts. I believe gymnastics to be such an important sport giving the children lifelong personal skills in determination, focus, team work and making friends. I love seeing the hard work and progress from all levels of our club and the enjoyment that all our members get from our sessions.

I currently coach the elite team, floor and vault competitions squads and the recreational classes! I love gymnastics and I am passionate about passing my love of the sport onto the next generations. I love seeing my gymnasts every week and there is no better feeling than seeing the look on their faces when they learn a new skill, progress to a new grade or win medals at competitions. I love being a part of the Jaybee family!

I am a qualified level 3 acrobatic coach and I enjoy teaching new Acro skills and watching the gymnasts succeed at high level competitions! I’m still just as competitive as when I was young so I like to challenge the gymnasts, hard work pays off especially when the sweet box is around!

I currently teach the recreational classes and the younger gymnast’s Floor & Vault squad-preparing them for gradings and competitions. Hi, I’m Harriet and I’ve been a member of Jaybee for over 10 years! I was a part of the Acrobatics Squad which meant I got to travel and compete in to some incredible places (like Disneyland Paris!), winning lots and lots of medals and titles. I have now retired from training and have now moved on to coach instead. I teach Recreational gymnasts, Floor & Vault Squad and Acro Squad (of all ages). The best part of my job is not only watching these hardworking children develop as gymnasts, but seeing them grow into caring & wonderful people! It’s the best job ever!
